Industrial Painter: First or Second Shift

DETAILS

• Type: Full-Time
• Hours: Hours will be day shift (6:00am – 2:30pm) or SWF’s night shift schedule: 4:30pm-5:00am Monday night-Wednesday night (4 additional hours paid if 36 hours are worked); Overtime Available
• Pay: $25.00 to $30.00 per hour ($5.00/hr shift differential on night shift)

RESPONSIBILITIES & Requirements

• Review work order and drawings for special instructions.
• Prepares items to be painted. (Wipe, Sand, Tape, etc.)
• Verifies paint type and color.
• Mixes paint.
• Paints items per job requirements (Correct thickness, Surfaces, etc.)
• Organizes projects to stay efficient and meet due dates.
• Keeps track of stock paint and notifies department manager when items need reordered.
• Keeps equipment clean and in good working order.
• Keeps work area clean, organized and safe. (Floors, Filters, etc.)
• Notes any machine or material issues to department manager immediately.
• Keeps track of all paint usage and fill out reports for E.H.&S as applicable.
• Organizes paint storage room.
