Get to know Dan
As Plant Manager at SWF Industrial, Dan describes his role simply: a shop facilitator and support system for the people on the floor. With nearly 30 years at SWF, he’s been a steady presence through seasons of change and growth, helping guide the company with a deep sense of respect for its roots and optimism for its future.
Dan is most energized by seeing people grow, not just professionally, but personally. Whether he’s troubleshooting an issue or offering mentorship, he believes that supporting the person behind the work is the key to success on the floor and beyond.
One of Dan’s proudest moments was helping bring the Prodevco robotic structural cutting system to life, from attending the machine show to installation and integration. The project captured everything he values: innovation, collaboration, and trust in people’s potential.
He leads with humility and service, putting the team’s needs first and bringing his ideas forward only after he’s listened. He defines a good day as one where things run smoothly, and the shop feels confident, efficient, and productive.
Outside of work, Dan is passionate about family, hands-on projects, and lending a hand wherever it’s needed—whether that’s with machines or home repairs for his kids. He lives by the motto: “The harder I work, the luckier I get,” and “If you enjoy your work, you’ll never work a day in your life.”
