Get to know Troy
As SWF Industrial’s Field Manager, Troy plays a vital role in keeping projects on track and crews connected. He bridges the gap between the office and the field, supporting team communication, coordinating with Project Managers, maintaining equipment, and managing the ever-changing field schedule. From supplying tools to monitoring performance and staffing needs, Troy ensures that field operations run smoothly and efficiently.
One of his proudest contributions is helping implement an automated daily notification system, giving field crews real-time updates on schedule changes. It’s a small change with big impact—improving clarity, coordination, and productivity on the job.
Troy brings strong leadership and adaptability to his role, along with a deep respect for the people he works with. Whether he’s solving logistical challenges or mentoring others, he’s motivated by a commitment to doing the right thing—even when it’s hard.
Outside of work, Troy is passionate about his family—his wife and two adult daughters—and enjoys woodworking, traveling, and coaching throwing events in track and field. He draws inspiration from Theodore Roosevelt’s “The Man in the Arena,” a reminder to lead with courage, even when things get tough.
For Troy, leadership is about showing up, staying present, and making sure every crew member has what they need to succeed.
